    Establish Steering Committee to formulate a plan for raising funds
  • September – December 2011 COMPLETE
    Development Marketing Package for Business and Corporate contributions/Target Marketing List
  • January 2012 – On Going
    New Year of grant opportunities and launch Capital Campaign
    Excel Foundation grant received
  • Summer 2013 – Texas Transportation Commission GRANT AWARDED $275,182
  • December 2014 – GOAL was reached for TxDOT Grant match $112,807
  • Winter 2015 – Project advertised for bids

Not only will our cowboy receive the grand refurbishing that he deserves, his current surroundings will be beautifully enhanced with a lush, landscaped space, featuring a small travel center dedicated in his honor.
